Welcome to my web page.  I am Craig Hughes.  I teach high school math here at WayPoint Academy.  This web page has some basic information, some links and is a gateway to my web log.

My web log has the day-to-day workings of my classes.  Please, check it frequently.  It has an up-to-date list of the homework and current and upcoming events in my classes.

I look forward to seeing each of my students grow in mathematics and in thinking.  A quote from René Descartes says it well.  "It is not enough to have a good mind. The main thing is to use it well."

Here is a list of materials that each of my students should have at HOME in order to be able to their homework well.
            - scientific calculator (a graphing calculator is good, but optional)
            - graph paper
            - ruler
The geometry students should also have the following materials.
            - protractor  (angle measurer)
            - compass (circle maker)
