Welcome fellow Navigators to the new school year!

This is my sixth year at WayPoint Academy.  I teach 6th grade, Language Arts and Social Studies and 7th grade Social Studies.  I absolutely love it.  Eleven and twelve year olds are at such a fun age with all the changes going on for them.

I have been married for 24 years to Chuck.  We live in Grand Haven with our 21 year old son Nicholas, who is attending Muskegon Community College, and our 19 year old daughter Lauren, who is in her first year at Grand Valley State University.  We also have a thirteen year old chocolate lab named Molly, and two twelve year old cats, Chuckie and Whiskers.  During my free time I love to curl up with a cozy blanket and get lost in a good book.  I also enjoy cross country skiing, bike riding, and going to the beach.
